Preventing Floor Damage is Cheaper than Cure

By on March 23, 2011

Replacing floorcoverings can be a costly exercise and with the squeeze on public sector spending, protecting carpets and floors during painting / maintenance work makes sound economic sense.  That is why COBA’s floor protection films in the COBA Guard range are an invaluable asset.

 COBA Guard Floor Protection Film

COBA Guard is a self-adhesive polythene floor protection film available in two options; one for smooth floors such as wood and tile finishes, and the other designed for carpet floor coverings. Both are flame-retardant to BS 4790: 1987.

The floor protection film is reverse wound on the roll allowing for quick hand installation for smaller rooms or staircases.  For larger areas, the robust COBA Guard applicator, which has been innovatively designed for easy and efficient installation, is available in two widths to accommodate the PVC rolls.

Both COBA Guard Hard Floor Protector (50 microns thick) and COBA Guard Carpet Protector (90 microns thick) neatly lay flat to the floor surface to reduce the risk of tripping and in doing so, provide high levels of protection to floors. After use, the film can simply be peeled back without leaving traces of residue.

COBA Guard floor protector is available in two widths – 600 mm and 1200 mm (as is the optional Applicator) in lengths of 25m, 50m and 100m rolls.
