The Surface Design Show is almost here. The exhibition will launch on February 9th and run until the 11th.
The annual exhibition is a key date in the calendar for architects, designers, manufacturers and, not least, the COBA Flooring team. The latest innovations, trends and inspirational surface materials will be on show.
The Surface Spotlight Live section will be focusing on material directions for Health + Wellbeing this year. This is becoming a key area for architects and designers, both of which are now considering how materials can encourage positive experiences.
A sample of the Surface Spotlight Live materials will be presented at the show in collaboration with Sally Angharad, Colour Consultant and Design Writer. Visitors will be able to see first hand the latest innovations in aesthetics for the healthcare and retail sectors.
The types of surfaces that will be presented include Multisensory Offerings, which have practical and aesthetic benefits. Reflective Colour is another group of materials that will be on show. These materials focus on creating positive moods by using a combination of colour and light. We look at colour and entrance matting in a recent blog post.
Here at COBA Flooring, health and wellbeing are also hot topics, as people become more concerned with the wellbeing of their employees and customers. We have a wide selection of colours and textures available in our entrance matting ranges, to give people more flexibility in their choices to create a positive environment.
Our Plan.b range offers a wide selection of entrance matting colours. This enables you to be more creative with your colour choice to create positive moods from the moment you enter a building. This range has great aesthetic and practical appeal. It is suitable for wet and dry environments, and applications are also ideal for inside or outside use.
