Business Manager, Danni Cooke, explains why she is looking forward to the Facilities Show and what COBA has in store for visitors.
Our team at COBA Europe are especially excited about this year’s Facilities Show because for the first time we have a truly ‘hybrid’ stand (Stand M640) which will showcase both our entrance matting and workplace safety mats to visitors.
We will be using the event to unveil our new logomat technology which allows us to incorporate bespoke logos into our custom made aluminium entrance matting systems. The end result is very eye-catching, and we think it will prove popular.
COBA Europe will also be using the Facilities Show to launch our latest ‘matting selector’ application which will be available on Android and iOS for phones and tablets. Called ‘Entrance Architect’, it has been developed in-house by COBA and its key purpose is to help customers specify the right entrance matting for specific environments. It will be demonstrated for the first time at the show, and promises to be a handy tool to help refine the decision-making process, while giving access to a variety of useful supporting resources including datasheets and case studies.
Away from entrance mats, our safety products include anti-fatigue and slip-resistant mats, as well as our COBAGRiP range of sheets, stair treads and nosing; the latter being ideal for outdoor use. One of our key messages is that, COBA can supply a matting solution for virtually environment, from entrance matting systems to workplace matting and other safety flooring products.
On a personal level, it will be my ‘second’ year at the show, although we were in the Safety & Health Expo area last time. It is always good to meet new customers and catch-up with familiar faces. We may live in a digital age, but there are no substitutes for meeting people face-to-face from both a customer and supplier perspective. It gives customers the opportunity to see our products up close, which can be an important part of matting selection, whether that’s entrance matting or safety mats.
I think our stand is going to be busy, so there won’t be much time for attending any seminars, but I am hoping to be able to take a good look around the neighbouring exhibitions, especially Safety & Health Expo.
The Facilities Show, together with the other events, gives visitors the chance to meet a huge range of potential suppliers from the industry under one roof, while being able to gain valuable insights from all the seminars, forums and networking opportunities. It’s THE ‘must-attend’ show for the FM industry, and if you are attending, be sure to stop by the COBA Europe stand – if mats don’t whet your appetite, we are giving away free beers which we are sure will go down well!
