Hazardous Floors Need Safety Matting

As plans to reform the NHS edge closer, one thing is for sure that prevention of accidents, whether at home or in the workplace, could be a big help to hospitals and their staff.

Slip-related accidents remain an area of huge concern.  It’s so easy to lose concentration and slip on a wet or oily surface.  That is where slip-resistant industrial matting can be hugely beneficial.

Even dry dust, and especially swarf and debris, can be hazardous for slipping.  Again, industrial matting that generally has open holes to capture the debris, is a real safety asset in the workplace.

Industrial matting, whether anti-fatigue rubber matting or slip-resistant matting, should be regarded as a necessity rather than a luxury in hazardous industrial situations.
