ESD Mats

ESD Mats, also known as electro-static dissipative mats, are useful in preventing the harmful effects of static electricity. A conductive layer within the mats prevents the buildup of static electricity, protecting sensitive components and materials, and preventing static shocks. ESD mats can serve a variety of functions and can contain a number of other benefits. ESD floor mats can reduce the effects of oil, increase traction, and reduce fatigue while standing. ESD mats are available as both a flooring surface and a desk or work space surface. ESD Mats are recommended in areas where oil spills are likely, when working with sensitive electronic equipment, or when a sudden spark from static electricity could be hazardous.
