COBA Re-structures to Reflect European Growth

Following the continued growth of all divisions of COBA International Ltd, the company is delighted to announce re-structuring changes to further advance its individual business activities.

On 1 July 2007, COBA’s rapidly expanding Matting and Flooring business officially started trading as COBA Europe Ltd following a move last April to an ultra-modern purpose built factory on land adjacent to its existing manufacturing plant in Fleckney, Leicestershire. COBA’s thriving plastic extrusion manufacturing business continues to trade as COBA Plastics Ltd.

Both companies, together with the other worldwide businesses COBA Europe GmbH in Germany, COBA Plastics Slovakia s.r.o. and COBA Krasplast s.r.o. in Slovakia and COBA Plastics (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, will trade under the umbrella of their parent company, COBA International Ltd.

“Since we first introduced our own manufactured flagship Cobamat product back in the 1970’s, our matting range has gone from strength to strength to grow COBA into one of the largest suppliers in Europe,” says COBA’s Richard Cooke. “We continue to expand not only our industrial and commercial matting lines, but also our range of flooring products, which is really taking off in the contract flooring market.”

To mark its step into a new era, COBA Europe has also undergone a brand update which has subtly modernised the traditional COBA logo to give it a modern, refreshed identity. The company website has also changed from www.matting-solutions.com to www.cobaeurope.com
