Displaying your logo at the front door of your business has got to be the easiest way to remind people where they are why. The good news is that this is fairly simple and cost-effective to achieve. Logo printed entrance mats have been around for some time now, but the manufacturing processes are now good enough to present your logo very accurately onto a durable quality door mat.

PathMaster Logo is an aluminium entrance matting system from COBA Europe that is more flexible than most aluminium systems because it is available in flexible rolls that can be butted together to cover any sized area. PathMaster is a revolution in aluminium entrance matting. It's flexible ribbed structure allows it to be transported and fitted with more ease that a rigid matting system. There are two options to suit two main different types of entrance area. The smaller of the two (PathMaster Surface) is designed to be laid on the floor surface, and with its non-slip backing it wont budge an inch when laid down on tiles or carpet. The second version is PathMaster Fitted, which is intended to be laid into an recess well. PathMaster Fitted, as it name suggests can be cut and expanded to fit any size or shape welcome area.

When refurbishing building or individual office its one thing to keep the timing of each job aligned to the plan, but its another to coordinate all the different tradespeople so that no one job gets in the way of the other.

New carpets should be cared for until the job is completely signed off, and therefore need some form of protection from the materials, dust and debris that can be created by electricians, plasterers and builders while working.

Carpet protector film can be laid down after a new carpet is fitted. Although carpet protector film is self-adhesive it does not leave a residue, and can remain down easily for weeks. The film can be laid simply using a metal applicator, which has been designed specifically for the job.

COBA's Premier Track Tiles entrance matting has been installed at one of the UK's busiest motorway service stations.

Welcome Break Keele service station, located off the M6 in Staffordshire, has used the matting supplied by PHS to refurbish various entrance areas on both the northbound and southbound sides of the building frequented by an estimated three to four million people a year.

Premier Track is a hard wearing interlocking PVC tile system with a high quality nylon carpet insert designed to scrape dirt and wipe moisture from footwear. The flexible tiles, which can be installed in footwells or laid to surface, are manufactured from 80% recycled materials. The PVC can be cut to shape with ease, making installation a simple task that does not necessarily require professional fitting.

An aluminium entrance matting system had been previously used at Welcome Break Keele. This had become worn and required total replacement. Welcome Break Keele recognised the versatility and cost-effectiveness of the Premier Track system which allows for individual tiles to be replaced rather than having to invest in an entirely new system.

LOGOMATS from COBA Europe have been installed at HMYOI Huntercombe in Henley on Thames.


Some 20 Logomats have been installed at various locations within this Oxfordshire prison for young male offenders. The prison, which dates back to 1946, has undergone major redevelopment in the last ten years.

Bright coloured mats with clear messages were required to easily define areas within the prison which can hold up to 360 young people. It was also essential for those mats located near outdoor access areas to be functional too.

Prison staff at HMYOI Huntercombe have been impressed by the noticeable reduction of dirt and water being walked into the building. With this comes improved safety underfoot and better cleanliness for hygiene and floor protection.

Logomats allow for personalised messages or company logos to be effectively displayed with a choice of over 40 colour options (maximum of six colours per mat). The mats have a non-skid nitrile backing while the top surface is a solution-dyed nylon tufted into a non-woven polyester
which can hold some 2.5 litres of water/m2.

Fully washable, Logomats are easy to keep in pristine condition. Logomats also carry an 11 year warranty against fading.

Standard sizes are 0.85m x 1.5m and 1.15m x 1.75m as well as custom sizes up a maximum width of 2m and length of 4m.

COBA’s Premier Track entrance matting has been installed at various locations within one of the largest shopping centres in the UK.

thecentre:mk in Milton Keynes comprising some 240 stores, cafes and restaurants required quality entrance matting for this hugely popular shopping destination.

Attracting some 30 million visitors a year, entrance matting had to be functional and safe in terms of scraping dirt and wiping moisture from footwear. It also had to be smart and sufficiently durable to cope with significant wear and tear from the high volumes of footfall. The order was specified by Fitton Associates of London and fitted by Crown Flooring.

Premier Track, made from 80% recycled materials, comprises an interlocking PVC tile with a high quality nylon carpet insert. This ultra-versatile system allows for coverage of any size of floor area, either installed in footwells or laid to surface with bevelled edging. Premier Track tiles can even be cut to shape to accommodate different shapes and sizes.

With most entrance matting, the central pathway is usually subjected to greater wear and tear. Premier Track allows for these tiles to be swapped around, or replaced, without the need to invest in an entirely new system. Easy to install and maintain.

Each tile measures 30cm x 45cm and is 15mm deep. It is available in blue, brown and anthracite.
